It was the night before Christmas, and all through Mordhaus… Was complete chaos. Toki could be clearly heard in the distance, in complete hysterics, desperately upset and no amount of placating would quiet him. In the main room, Murderface sat on the couch, one arm slung across the back, other hand resting on his buckle in his patented William Murderface “so what?” pose. Facing him, looking highly displeased, were Pickles, Skwisgaar, and Nathan. Even Offdensen was there, wearing his bathrobe, glasses slightly askew. He looked like all he wanted for Christmas was a decent night’s sleep, or, failing that, a tranquilizer gun. Nothing was said. The band and Offdensen stared at Murderface, awaiting an explanation. Murderface stared back, trying hard, and failing miserably, to look innocent. In the background, Toki voiced his emotional distress to anything within hearing distance, including several neighbouring states. “What?” Murderface suddenly shot defensively. “He was bound to find out there’s no Santa sooner or later!!” |
