Charles stood in the hallway just outside of his office, and looked around. He saw, and heard, nothing. Not Skwisgaar’s constant playing, not Toki’s video games, not the television, not the wolves, not the roadies attending to their duties, nothing. Mordhaus was as silent as the grave. Charles sighed heavily, with a note of aggravation. He went back into his office, which he had just exited, and over to his antique desk. He pressed a button on the intercom that would send his voice over most of the haus.

“It was just a little folk music, people, get over yourselves.”
